The project involved the redevelopment of a run down mews to provide five live/work units with outdoor terraces and integral garages, together with six new lock-ups.
The owner approached CPA Ltd in 1995 with an open brief to gain Planning Approval for a complex inner-city site.
A careful study was carried out to try and meet concerns about loss of employment, density, traffic generation, height and overlooking of the adjoining properties. Great care was taken to ensure a sensitive external design of the live/work units, which were the first of their kind to gain planning permission in the borough.
